Martin Hikida

My life was greatly impacted during my early years at the UW by a group of friends who shared their faith with me, and waited prayerfully and patiently as I inched closer to God. I eventually accepted Christ into my heart during my junior year. I graduated in 1985 in Electrical Engineering, and moved down to Los Angeles, CA to work and attend graduate school. Lisa and I met in California while attending Cerritos Baptist Church. We got married 10 years later in 1995, and we currently live in Issaquah.

Lisa and I were part of a group of people who helped plant Cornerstone in 1996. Since then, we’ve been blessed with a wonderful church family and a family of our own: Brandon, Tyler, and Ryan. I enjoy basketball, and golf...but changing diapers is a higher priority!
