Michael HigashiMike was born in Torrance California, but his parents moved their family back to Hawaii when he was five months old, so he considers himself a Hawaii boy. After completing high school, he attended the University of Washington where the truth of the gospel came alive and he placed his life in the hands of Jesus Christ as his Savior and Lord. A few years later Mike met and married Maile, also a Hawaii girl! They are the blessed parents to three boys, Nate, Joshua, and Andrew. He desires to serve and equip others and bring them to experience joy and delight in God, so that God may be glorified through Jesus Christ. |

What's something people would be surprised to know about you?
I enjoy drawing, painting, and listening to Jazz or Classical music.
When you get to heaven, what's the first thing you'll ask?
Heavenly Father, is there someway that you can replay for me to watch your entire salvation plan unfold from your creation in Genesis to the final Judgement in Revelation?
Who was your childhood hero?
MacGyver. I loved his swiss army knife! I soon realized; however, that MacGyver was fake and my dad, while he didn't have a cool knife, he is the real deal and truly is a jack of all trades and he never gave up. He is the person I think of when I think of the words persevere, resolute, honor, and integrity.
