intimacy with God Spiritual practices like prayer, reading the Bible, silence, personal worship and solitude deepen our relationship with God helping us to hear his voice, receive his love and form our character. This also is developed through greater understanding and knowledge of God's nature and work. Psalm 42:1-2 redemptive relationships Our relationship with God transforms our relationships with people so that we are helping each other grow closer to the Lord and live out our faith. life stewardship We step out in faith and utilize our time, talents, and treasures to build God's kingdom. 1 Peter 4:10 prevailing faith God wants us to overcome all obstacles and challenges and do great things in us, for us and through us. This includes overcoming our wounds, sin patterns, and life circumstances. Ephesians 3:20 compassion for the lost and the least We are called to share the good news and be good news to those who don't know Jesus. Galatians 2:9-10 |
