Warren Eng

The first big step in my journey with the Lord came in the 8th grade when I started attending Chinese Baptist Church in Seattle to find answers in life. I knew little about Christianity so I sat week after week learning more about our triune God. I eventually agreed that Jesus was who he said he was and received him as my Savior in my senior year in high school. It has been a great ride ever since!

My journey into full-time ministry was a longer one, with a few twists and turns. I first went to seminary in Vancouver, B.C., to Regent College in 1997, received my Diploma in Christian Studies, but returned to the Seattle area. After getting married, I felt God leading me to return to seminary part-time (while working full-time as an engineer), this time at Fuller Theological Seminary’s Northwest extension in Seattle. Early on there I felt a clear call to full-time ministry, I completed my studies in July 2007, and was blessed to be called to be Cornerstone’s youth pastor. I love working with youth and I look forward to seeing what God has in store for them as my family, Amy, Terrick, and Trevon, walk alongside the body at Cornerstone!
