Emi Locke
I was born and raised in a non-Christian home in Vancouver, Canada. When I was in Grade 5, I had accepted Christ at a summer Bible camp with a school friend; but, I had walked away from God many times. When I went to university, I studied Anthropology and Sociology and it made me question whether there really is a God or whether man believes in God, because he needs something to believe in (since all societies believe in some sort of religion.) This was a major roadblock for me in truly believing in Christ as an adult. |

What's something people would be surprised to know about you?
I'm shy.
When you get to heaven, what's the first thing you'll ask?
How do you exist before time began?
Who was your childhood hero?
Pollyanna (if you haven't seen the Disney version, it's a must see classic! Many life lessons about looking for the good in people and learning how to love others … especially watch how the Pastor, Aunt Polly and others transform their lives in this one!) Also liked Tinkerbell and Mary Poppins, because they could fly!
What's your favorite bible verse(s)?
Cast all your anxieties on Him, for he cares about you. (1 Peter 5:7) For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. (Jeremiah 29:11)
