Our Relentless God (A Study of Jonah)

The story of Jonah is well read but not well known.  Some think of it as the biblical equivalent to the story of Pinocchio.  But this isn’t just a large fish story, it’s the story of a man who knows God but doesn’t know him, a man who represents God but fails miserably.  This is not just Jonah’s story, it’s our story and as we study this together we’ll close the distance between us and our God.

Aligning Our Hearts with God's

God’s mercy reveals Jonah’s heart.  He hates the Ninevites and wants nothing more than for God to crush them.  God shows Jonah through his misplaced priorities that he lacks a heart of compassion.   God cares deeply for these people and desires for them to be saved.
