Hebrews 11:1In one sense, faith is where you believe that God is real, God is good, and God wants the best for you (in the context of eternity)--and you believe this SO much that you are willing to live based upon that belief.
Hebrews 11:2There is something inherently pleasing to God about faith. Why? Because faith shows how much you trust someone, how deep a relationship is. And God loves it when His relationship with someone is growing deeper.
2. What does it look like when someone lives by faith?
Hebrews 11:7Hebrews 11:13-16What did the ancients see that allowed them to believe in God's goodness so much that they lived by faith… even when things were hard and uncertain?
What did the ancients see? So were the ancients just focused on heaven? Was that all they wanted? NO!!! It went beyond that. It was about wanting the God who was so good that He wanted them to have heaven! It's about wanting a deep relationship with the God who is that good!
3. Will we live by faith?

- We are being grown and refined
- There is a spiritual battle going on
Can we see heaven and how good it is going to be? Can we see the God who is so good that He wants us to have heaven? What do we see? What do we believe? And how will we live based upon that belief?
