Coming to Christ starts us on a journey that has as its goal nothing less than humans becoming what weve been destined and designed for. Our spiritual re-birth reverberates and opens the door to the transformation of our physical bodies into glorious eternal ones. But God also offers us the possibility of experiencing transformation on the inside too. Now. Part of this transformation is found in His work of inner healing.
Ironically, the healing work of God is designed to free us from ourselves so we can learn to die to ourselves and live for Him. Our healing is not an ends to itself but rather is the very thing that allows the seed of our lives to die in order to bear fruit.
The journey toward inner healing leads to dying to ourselves so we can focus on God and others.
‘Turn outward! Healing that empowers compassion and service in the world is true healing.’
