A Study of 2 Corinthians

The church at Corinth had been swayed by false teachers to discredit Paul and his ministry. The slanderous attackers claimed he was fickle, proud, unimpressive in appearance and speech, dishonest, and unqualified as an apostle of Christ. Throughout this letter the apostle is placed in the awkward position of defending himself against these accusations while also giving timeless instruction and encouragement to the faithful believers.

    2 Corinthians 9
    1.  2 Corinthians 9:1-5
    It’s important that our generosity proves sincere.
    1John 3:16-18
    Our generosity is God-inspired.

    ?What has God been asking of me, lately?
    Am I available or closed? open-handed or stingy?

    2.  2 Corinthians 9:6-11a
    Christ’s disciples give cheerfully, willingly, intentionally, fully trusting God to provide for their own needs and make their lives fruitful for Him.
    Malachi 3:8-12
     
    ?Can I trust God to provide for all I need to live and to do His will? 
    Luke 12:48b

    Remember  God’s goodness  in your life, then step out in faith to sow generously

    Our generosity brings glory to God!
