Christmas Service - "The Word Became Flesh"

John's gospel doesn't mention a star, shepherds, angels, magi, or a manger. His account begins long before the birth of Christ as he takes us into the courts of heaven in eternity past. Then the coming of Christ explodes on the scene and is captured in a single sentence: ' The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us.'
