Jesus' Last Week

The last week that Jesus walked the earth before his crucifixion is referred to as Holy Week.  This week is the climax of his earthly ministry with its apex being the crucifixion and resurrection.  Jesus understood his purpose for coming to earth.  He came to offer himself to mankind and so at the right time he set his face toward Jerusalem knowing that his final week was upon him.  In this series we’ll look closely at what he said and what he did in this final week.  Fall in love with Jesus all over again as we pause to consider, think deeply upon, touch and behold our King!

    Impractical Worship (Anointing of Jesus)

    Mary, the sister of Lazarus and Martha comes to Simon’s house and pours out a very costly perfume onto Jesus in an act of pure devotion and love.  Her act of worship is met with derision and rebuke by the disciples but Jesus sees it as preparation for his burial.
