Jesus' Last Week

The last week that Jesus walked the earth before his crucifixion is referred to as Holy Week.  This week is the climax of his earthly ministry with its apex being the crucifixion and resurrection.  Jesus understood his purpose for coming to earth.  He came to offer himself to mankind and so at the right time he set his face toward Jerusalem knowing that his final week was upon him.  In this series we’ll look closely at what he said and what he did in this final week.  Fall in love with Jesus all over again as we pause to consider, think deeply upon, touch and behold our King!

If Only You Knew (Triumphal Entry)

Pastor Larry
January 17, 2010

It’s odd that we would refer to Jesus’ coming to the city of Jerusalem where he would be crucified as a triumphal entry.  His last week begins here with the praise and adulation of the crowd.  Yet these same voices will cry out for his crucifixion just a few days later.  Come find out just what was triumphal about his coming to Jerusalem.
