Rediscovering the Holy Spirit

When it comes to the Trinity, the least known member is the Holy Spirit.  We have allowed his person to remain a mystery, we have sought to minister apart from his power, and we have a serious lack of joy in life because of this neglect.  Passionate followers of Christ know it takes much more than trying harder, being more disciplined, or filling our lives with more activity.  What we need is a fresh and consistent relationship with the Holy Spirit.

    Many of us have kept at arms distance from the Holy Spirit because we are afraid of him.  What we fail to realize is that God is good and He only gives good gifts to His children so we don’t need to fear.  This message will look at the common fears and barriers that keep us from drawing closer to the Holy Spirit.
